ABSTRACT
Chapters 4 and 5 discussed the rheological properties of MR ™uids, which are controllable by magnetic „eld intensity and are very effective for vibration control systems of vehicle bodies such as a semi-active suspension system adopting MR shock absorbers. Vehicles have several vibration or impact sources, such as engine excitation or external collision. In this case, the vehicle body vibration was caused by road excitation.
