ABSTRACT
The most popular software that allows the semi-automatisation of the MCMC procedures is BUGS, and particularly its MS Windows incarnations WinBUGS (Spiegelhalter et al., 2002) and OpenBUGS (Lunn et al., 2009), whose widespread use has arguably contributed to the establishment of applied Bayesian statistics in the last twenty years.
