ABSTRACT

The general static equations of the elasticity theory and corresponding boundary conditions as well as statement of the problem on the elasticity theory were dwelt upon in Ch. 3. Notice, however, that some effects on constructions bear an expressed dynamic character. Nevertheless, the resultant displacements are usually negligible, the velocity and especially acceleration may reach the values hazardous for the constructions. Seismic impacts, wind gusts, as well as various dynamic influences of technological origin: movement of trains, cranes, unbalanced parts of machines and mechanisms belong to such loads.
