ABSTRACT
Indications for radiotherapy Anal cancer is rare with approximately 500-600 new cases diagnosed each year in the UK. It is more common in women and the median age at diagnosis is 60. Anal margin tumours, however, are more common in men and at an earlier age. Primary chemoradiotherapy is the current treatment of choice.
