The production of a safe food depends on, and is the responsibility of, all those involved with foodstuffs, whatever their capacity. Therefore, all those involved with food need to be trained in the principles of food hygiene and how to prevent foodborne disease. The training methods will differ between groups but the basic principles are the same for all disciplines.
