1b. The patient you have just spoken to is discussed in the team meeting. She is very needy and rapidly engages with care workers. There can often be situations where people are left feeling very anxious for her. A lot of intervention is provided but the patient will often use the intervention, be grateful for it, but then not make any lasting change to her presentation. Her heavy use of alcohol is assumed to account at least in part for this.
