ABSTRACT
Examination This woman appears unwell with deep yellow sclerae, scratch marks, bruising over her arms and legs and spider naevi over her chest and back. There is a coarse tremor of her outstretched hands. In her abdomen there is hepatomegaly and evidence of ascites.
