ABSTRACT
Triplets and higher-order pregnancies are normally delivered by elective CS. If the woman presents with uterine contractions then the consultant should be informed immediately, and a decision will be taken regarding the timing of delivery, depending on the frequency and strength of contractions. If the woman is in established labour then arrangements should be started for an urgent CS.
