ABSTRACT
The baby’s presentation reflects the degree of flexion or extension of the head:
full flexion: occiput
full extension: face
deflexed but not fully extended: brow
Inform the registrar or senior obstetrician.
Group-and-save.
Rule out fetal abnormalities (anencephaly, goitre and hydocephalus).
