Inherited coagulation disorders: haemophilia and von Willebrand disease

Coagulation disorders can be inherited or acquired:

Inherited: haemophilia, von Willebrand disease, factor XI deficiency and other rare disorders.

Acquired: gestational thrombocytopenia and immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP, Chapter 62).
