ABSTRACT
In the earlier chapters, stress is laid on the importance of tentorial and foraminal herniations in causes of death. In this chapter we discuss the various causes of such herniations. Inevitably, there will be some repetition of points made in other chapters. We also discuss some lesions within the spinal canal, which by their expansion cause paraplegia or tetraplegia rather than sudden death.
