ABSTRACT
This chapter reviews diseases of peripheral nerves and their parent cell bodies other than those due to deficiency or metabolic diseases or toxic states, which are considered in Chapters 20 and 21 respectively, and motor neuron disease which is considered in Chapter 14. Discussion of the handling of nerve biopsies can be found on p.105.
