ABSTRACT
This chapter will introduce the legal concepts related to children and explore the fundamental ethical and legal issues that impact on the care of children. It begins by dealing with the issues surrounding the fetus and the right to life. This is followed by the issues concerning children from birth to the age of 25 in accordance with the Children Act of 2004.
