ABSTRACT
The differential diagnosis of breathlessness is broad and in this chapter we offer a systematic approach to separating the ‘groups’ of diagnoses listed in a logical fashion. A separate section of the chapter is dedicated to ‘breathlessness with wheeze’ as this encompasses a distinct group of differential diagnoses.
