Family Reoviridae is one of the largest virus families that contains 15 genera of viruses having 9-12 segments of linear dsRNA as genomes. Vector-borne viruses of the family Reoviridae that infect mammals belong to 3 distinct genera: Orbivirus, Coltivirus, and Seadornavirus [1-3].
