ABSTRACT
In the previous chapters we studied the quantization of the ”classical” free fields: scalar, electromagnetic, and spinorial. In reality, the notion of ”free field” is a fiction, since there are neither isolated fields, nor free particles in Nature. Therefore, to study real physical phenomena we have to consider the quantum fields in mutual interaction.
