Though there can be some transference of skills, the majority of the skill sets necessary for management is not the same as that required for a technologist. Gayle has been a staff technologist at Pacific Imaging Center for about two years. She has enjoyed her tenure there up to this point. Gayle usually works with several part-time and full-time people, and has a good working relationship with everyone. Two of the other staff members have become her good friends, and Gayle regularly has lunch with them or they stop for a drink after work.
