ABSTRACT
Industry relies on electricity as the energy source to control almost all the systems. In some cases, automated mechanical control or even manual control are still used but they are mainly in older plants or in specific situations where regulations still enforce the use of such controls. Most control rooms are sophisticated, with many video screens and banks of buttons and knobs. For the uninitiated it is definitely a hands-off situation.
