ABSTRACT
Up to this point in time, management and team leaders have directed their attention to selecting individuals and transforming the objective into a project outcome. The team now prepares to begin the innovation project. In this phase, emphasis returns to the individual to prepare him or her for the project. The align and adapt phase works best for any innovation project that must reassess its commitment to and understanding of the project outcome intent.
