Innovative Energy Conservation This section supplements technical information presented in this text on innovative energy conservation measures (ECMs) for wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) with real-world experience and analyses of ECM implementations at nine plants. Each appendix includes a brief description of the ECMs installed at the facility, capital costs, energy savings, and payback period, along with a short discussion and analysis.
