Malignant glaucoma, or aqueous misdirection, is a rare but serious form of secondary
angle closure glaucoma that usually follows intraocular surgery. Despite, recent improve-
ments in the diagnosis and management of this condition it continues to generate contro-
versy regarding its pathogenesis and treatment.
