I. Introduction
Otorhinolaryngological problems are extremely common in children, especially
acute respiratory infections (ARIs) in general associated with fever. In many
countries, excessive use of drugs considered as unnecessary and harmful to
children is observed in the treatment of these pathologies, as well as abuse of
antibiotics, as most ARIs have a viral etiology and cure spontaneously (1,2).
