Recent advances in the numerical computation of environmental conservation laws with source terms

In this paper we analyse the previous issues using a finite volume solver for the hydrodynamic equations. An alternative discretisation for computing the convective transport of a scalar is analysed, which guarantees the mass conservation of the scalar inthe presence of unsteady wet-dry fronts over irregular bathymetries.
