ABSTRACT
Chronic low back pain is the most frequent reason for consultation regarding spinal pathology. In France, low back pain problems constitute 5% of the total budget of the Assurance Maladie (health insurance) and are a leading cause of absenteeism from the workplace. Different international statistics indicate that low back pain problems are responsible for a loss of 1% of working days.
