ABSTRACT
Arrhythmias that occur for the first time during pregnancy are uncommon and are usually due to exacerbation of a known rhythm disorder or an arrhythmic substrate (e.g., congenital heart disease). Appropriate management of the pregnant patient highlights several important issues that are frequently tested in cardiology examinations.
