ABSTRACT
According to Propositions 1.2.1 and 2.1.1, an important property of the
Black-Scholes model is that the returnsXi = ln [
] , i ∈ {1, . . . , n}, are
independent and identically distributed, with a Gaussian distribution. We now show how to test these two hypotheses, starting with the serial independence.
