ABSTRACT
In the past, maps served as the most prominent tool for illustrating and developing informed decisions by using spatial information. Now, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) are available in almost all institutions dealing with spatial study. The management of rapidly growing volumes of data, was solved by using high confi guration machines. The main factor that makes this possible is the storage of geographical entities over time.
