ABSTRACT
We have recently reported the LLE data for ternary mixture of (water + TBA + 2-ethyl-1-hexanol) [15] and (water + n-butanol + 2-ethyl-1-hexanol) [16]. From the experimental results, 2-ethyl-1-hexanol was chosen as a very good solvent for recovering TBA and NBA from aqueous solution [17]. This solvent has been also used as an organic solvent to determination of LLE data for some ternary mixtures of (water + ethanol + 2-ethyl-1-hexanol) [18], (water + acetone + 2-ethyl-1-hexanol) [19], and (water + acetic acid + 2-ethyl-1-hexanol) [20].
