ABSTRACT
Given the previous chapter in this book, it is useful to note here that the terms expert evaluation and heuristic evaluation are often used interchangeably. The term expert evaluation is used, when we want to highlight that the evaluators' experience and other sources of information, such as design guidelines, also play an important role in the evaluation. Expert evaluation doesn't always involve heuristics, although the method I'll recommend in this chapter includes heuristics.
