ABSTRACT

Introduction to KPIs Key performance indicators (KPIs) are a very broad area and therefore interpreted differently, making it somewhat difficult for companies to develop KPIs that are meaningful and useful (Enoma and Allen 2007). However, simply stated, a KPI is an indicator to the organization or the PM that some specific area is below, above, or on track. Therefore, a collection of these is used to indicate the performance of the project or organization (Chan and Chan 2004).
