ABSTRACT
The project comprises the construction of dual 11.3 m internal diameter, 1.27 km long, two lane road tunnels between the two man-made islands of Watson and Dodge and under a main shipping channel in Biscayne Bay, which is a state-designated aquatic preserve. In addition, the project includes approximately 4 km of roadway improvements and the widening of a major over-water bridge.
