ABSTRACT

Electrically conducting polymers still are interest of many researchers due to their various applications such as rechargeable batteries, antistatic coating, shielding of electromagnetic interferences, sensors, and so on [1]. Among them, polypyrrole (PPy) has attracted great attention since it exhibits a high electrical conductivity, electrochemical activity, and good environmental stability. The PPy is polymerized by either conventional electrochemical or chemical polymerization methods in insoluble or infusible due to the strong inter or intramolecular interactions. The poor processability, brittleness, insolubility, and unstable electrical properties of PPy have limited its practical applications.
