ABSTRACT
The purpose of the Requirements Definition Process is to define the requirements, that is, the needs, expectations, and desires of the system users and other stakeholders who provide services in a defined environment. These requirements are transformed into the System Requirements Document (SRD), which allows the generation of the System Design Document (SDD). The SRD is the highest-level document that the customer accepts to capture stakeholder needs. It will express the intended interaction that the system will have with its operational environment, and the requirements within are the reference against which each resulting operational service is validated.
