ABSTRACT
Solutions of the mass, momentum, and energy equations of the coolant in a single channel are presented in this chapter. The channel is generally taken as a representative coolant subchannel within an assembly, which is assumed to receive coolant only through its bottom inlet. The fuel and clad heat transport equations are also solved under steady-state conditions for the case in which they are separable from the coolant equations.
