ABSTRACT
DEBONAIR was a recreational cruiser/racer yacht, of a class known as the Club Shamrock 30 (LOA 9.2 meters). The boat was well maintained and equipped, and was capable of a speed of about 5 knots, under power. She was not under sail at the time of the accident. There were five persons on board.
