ABSTRACT
History A 50-year-old woman complained to her GP of feeling tired all the time and itching. There was no history of fever, night sweats or weight loss. She had been treated for breast cancer five years previously and was believed to be in remission. In addition, a diagnosis of hypothyroidism had been made two years previously and recent thyroid function tests indicated adequate replacement therapy.
