Examination She is comfortable at rest and is apyrexial, blood pressure 135/90 mmHg, pulse 86 bpm, respiratory rate 17, oxygen saturations are 95 per cent on air.

There is evidence of finger clubbing. Heart sounds are normal. Examination of the chest reveals mildly reduced right-sided expansion and a dull percussion note at the right base. Auscultation of the chest reveals scattered crepitations in the right mid-zone, reduced air entry at the right base and normal air entry on the left side. Her abdomen is soft, non-tender with no organomegaly.
