ABSTRACT
The world civilisation, human development and technological advancements all move together. The ultimate goal of technological advancement is human comfort and a better lifestyle. Transportation is an important societal need for better human life and economic development. However, the earth’s atmosphere warms up due to greenhouse gases (GHGs), which results in serious consequences such as a rise in the sea level due to the melting of ice glaciers, frequent drought and flood, serious effects on the ecosystem. Hence, GHGs need to be addressed for sustainable energy development.
