Understanding patents is often difcult for nonspecialists. From the authors’ personal experience, even when you are the inventor of the solution, explaining it to your patent attorney and guring out how patent claims relate to your invention can be a challenge. As a result, years after spending their precious time and money, many inventors and entrepreneurs discover that their patents are worthless.
