ABSTRACT
In this chapter we consider examples of the application of optimal designs in pharmacokinetic studies:
• Pharmacokinetic population models with serial sampling as in Gagnon and Leonov (2005) [167], Fedorov and Leonov (2007) [146]; see Sections 7.2 and 7.3;
• Pharmacokinetic models described by stochastic differential equations as in Anisimov et al. (2007) [12], Fedorov et al. (2010) [147]; see Section 7.4.
