ABSTRACT
Previous chapters have focused primarily on technical aspects of analytics; this chapter and the one following it will concentrate on two critical “soft skills.”1 In this chapter, I will discuss the manner in which analytical work is organized and how project management can be used to make that organization more efficient. Project management is essentially analytics applied to the act of working; commonly used in a wide variety of fields, it improves gut-based project organization through the use of structured techniques.
