ABSTRACT

An aeolian environment is characteristic of 20 to 25% of the continental area in diverse geomorphic environments of strong dry winds, moisture scarcity, scant vegetation cover, and loose surface sediments. Dry regions of such qualifications are ideal areas, and areas of abundant supply of sediments along coasts and glacier margins and in cultivated lands are suitable sites for the activity of wind (Livingstone and Warren, 1996). Dry regions are broadly identified with hot and cold deserts and areas of semiarid environment.
