ABSTRACT

With the recognition and acceptance of these conditions, senior leadership within the organization may seek to establish Networks to improve overall business performance. When establishing Networks, however, there are some recommendations that will enhance the overall functionality and performance of Networks. Listed next are the organizational requirements for setting up Networks:

• Clearly de–ned scope of work

• Business areas and stakeholder representation

• Network charter

• Support services-communications, legal, and change management

• Leadership support and sponsorship

Failure to meet these requirements may lead to a Network that performs at suboptimal levels.
