ABSTRACT
One of the most important applications of asymptotics is to approximate the solutions to an ordinary differential equation. We will not go into the techniques for finding the exact solution to the equations, except for the simplest cases. Our focus will be to find the approximate solutions, either through a Taylor series or an asymptotic series. However, some theory will be necessary to understand the nature of the solutions to the differential equations.
