ABSTRACT
Statisticians, like other professionals, cannot be expected to ‘know everything’. However, they must know how to locate appropriate reference material, when necessary, and be able to understand it when found. A library is the most important source of knowledge, and, used wisely, can be a valuable aid in tackling statistical problems.
