Cereal processing technology constitutes a strategic industry delivering a range of products worldwide from finished items to raw materials used in baking, brewing, etc. Breakfast cereals production is a strategic activity that has evolved from traditional cereals that require further cooking or heating before consumption to readyto-eat (RTE) cereals that can be consumed without further cooking at home.
