ABSTRACT
ZnTe-Cu1.95Te: The phase diagram belongs to the eutectic type (Figure 3.1) (Trishchuk et al. 1984, 2008). The eutectic composition and temperature are 53 mol. % ZnTe and 1038°C, respectively. The solubility of ZnTe in Cu1.95Te at the eutectic temperature reaches 51 mol. % and decreases to 10 mol. % at 700°C and 1.5 mol. % at 545°C (Trishchuk et al. 1984, 1985, 2008). The maximum solubility of Cu1.95Te in ZnTe is not higher than 3 mol. %.
