ABSTRACT

CdTe-K2Te: The phase diagram is not constructed. K2Cd3Te4 ternary compound is formed in this system (Axtell et al. 1996). It melts incongruently at 690°C and crystallizes in an orthorhombic structure with lattice parameters a = 1513.7 ± 0.8, b = 1130.7 ± 0.4, and c = 729.2 ± 0.7 pm at 193 K and calculation density 4.93 g cm−3 and energy gap 2.26 eV.
