The profound influence of O-glycans on the molecular architecture of se creted hormones, growth factors, and mucin-type glycoproteins [1], and the recognition of O-linked glycans of membrane-bound proteins [2] has enhanced interest in predicting sites of O-glycosylation from primary amino acid sequence data.
