ABSTRACT
Greater efficiency of an enterprise is the equivalent of being more competitive in the market and more profitable. It is interesting to study the differences between the Forbes Global 2000 rankings of leading companies* and the productivity efficiency ratings for leading global telecom operators. This chapter is the first attempt to compare the operating performances of global telecom operators in the Forbes Global 2000 rankings with the CCR ratings, particularly EBITDA margins, ROA levels, total asset turnover, and net profit ratios.
